Man held in poker game holdup

Hagerstown police have arrested a man in the robbery of an illegal poker game in Hagerstown in which $4,000 was taken from 18 people, including a state trooper.
Michael Joseph Campher, 22, of Hagerstown was being held yesterday on $400,000 bond. He is being charged with first-degree assault, armed robbery and other crimes.
According to charging documents, the robbery occurred about 10 p.m. May 30 in the 200 block of N. Prospect St.
Two men in ski masks walked in and ordered the players to put their money on the table, with one of the men pointing a gun at a player. The second man gathered the money.
